In Memory For 25 years those of us who live in Tulsa enjoyed Saturday Morning Bandstand, a radio show hosted by a man who claimed he was "the world's oldest teenager". For 25 years Rockin' John Henry sent forth over the airwaves the fabulous sounds of the 50s, not just those songs we hear on any oldies station, he dug down deep into his music collection to play the great songs we no longer hear anywhere nowadays. Along with the music John shared his vast wealth of knowledge of the 50s music and artists. John also hosted a radio show called The Smokehouse Blues that played some of the best music around. John, at 60, was still a teenager at heart when he passed away August 10, 2004 and he will be sorely missed by so very, very many of us. Don White's Tribute Song to John
