Once a rural community in Tulsa county, it's now in Tulsa. Lynn Lane community is in the area north of the Broken Arrow Expressway between Lynn Lane road (S 177 E Ave) and County Line Road (S 193rd E Ave) - the dividing line between Tulsa and Wagoner counties, in the area of 11th Street South.

Named by Mrs. Lela W. Hodges, local resident, after reading East Lynne. Lynn Lane school was built in 1928 and closed in 1975. Lynn Lane Reservoir (located north of East 21st Street) has a popular 2.6 well maintained walking trail around the reservoir.
