Location: S27 TS20N R13E. Post Office established 28 Feb 1895 - 31 Oct 1949 - now in Tulsa city limits. There is still a Dawson Road in Tulsa - it starts at about Independence and runs through Yale Ave. At one time Dawson was a thriving little community. Its main industry was coal mining.
