GREENWOOD: Location TS17N R13E. Located on Greenwood Ave close to the original Tulsa downtown area and Pine this was an area known as "Black Wall Street". A predominately Black community it was populated by successful Black businessmen. The Tulsa Race Riot of 1921 destroyed most of the buildings in the area and the community has since been absorbed into Tulsa proper. Arrived here via a search engine? Go Here
