By 1907 a new school was built at 60th and north Peoria. The new school, called Turley School, was a brick two-story building with two rooms on each floor. This school served the students of Turley for 12 years. By 1920 the student body had outgrown this small four room school and a new, much larger, two story (with full basement) building was built to the north of the old school.
